Every time I get to the point where its says "Press Enter" to start the game, it immediately closes the window and crashes, never taking me to the main menu. I have tried deleting the launcher.exe running mafiadefinitiveedition.exe as administrator, with compatibility mode Windows 8 toggled, Disabled Fullscreen optimization, I have literally tried everything, doesn't work with full-screen, windows, borderless windowed, nothing..... Does anyone know of a fix for the most updated version of Windows 11.... This is so ridiculous.

I created a ticket with 2K support and they gave me the following instructions, but I have yet to try them:

While checking your MSinfo file, I noticed some .dll errors related to some GOG processes, which may be causing the game crashes you're experiencing. As such, I have a few more steps for you to try, starting with a SFC scan.

The System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

To run the SFC, just follow these steps:

1) Click on the Start button and in the search field type "CMD".
2) In the list of results you will see "Command Prompt" please right-click and select "Run as Administrator"
3) In the new window please type "sfc /scannow" (note the space between sfc and "/")


After that , please also try running the game in a "Clean Boot" of Windows to see if there is any other program interfering with the game.


Also, please re-verify your game integrity once again while in Clean Boot before launching the game.
