Is it just me getting old or does Mafia Classic seem harder than it used to?

Well, I remember that back in the day when I was cute and tiny, Mafia was so incredibly difficult that I was never able to get far. Definitely one of the hardest games I remember -- that might be wrong, but you are definitely not too old, it's just hard as balls

I never played 1.x version prior to latest 1.3. but for 1.3 it was always kinda hard game. HP goes low immediately in shooting parts. The most difficult parts i can remember is always shooting ones. Airport, church, farm, police runaway shotout in hotel...

I'm waiting for it to go on sale but I remember how fun the shooting was. How the reticle would jump wildly with even just one shot, so you had to be very careful with how you timed your shots. And I liked it didn't have a cover mechanic. Made finding cover a bit more meaningful imo. It's been forever though so I'm curious if those thoughts still hold up, as I just played definitive 1 and 2, and now on 3.
