I can't assign a key to sniper mode in the controls menu. Every time I restart the game, the assigned key gets removed (resulting in a blank space). Even when using the default keys, restarting the game removes the key assigned to sniper mode.

I'm a first-time Mafia player. Was this already a known bug, or am I the only one dealing with this?

Same thing for me. When I do assign a button for sniper mode. It doesn't work. And if I restart the game it's blank.

I am able to assign the key just fine. Don't mistake sniper mode for aiming down sights (sorry if you knew this, but since you are a first time player, I wanted to mention it). There is only one rifle in the game that offers you this option and when you come to that part, you should be able to assign the key and use it to bring up the scope.

The bug was in the original release afaik. I can remember loading my game where I had to use sights and wasn't able to. Then I discovered that the key unbinds itself with each restart.
