Dont be confused with the title "round based". This game is IMHO an early predecessor of Supreme Commander, if talking about complexity. The round based system gives you a little more time to think, and this is absolutely neccessary, believe me. If you never have played this game before, use the tutorials. Use the handbook. Stay tuned. The game is worth the effort. And play MAX. MAX is by far better than the second part.
GOG has done a good job. Download, install, run. Perfect. No DOS-Settings are to be made, no patch neccessary, and the game runs very smooth and stable. $5.99 for a LOT of fun. Thanks GOG.
