Hello people,

received this game as giveawat from GOG ans tried to launch it. It gets stuck there with a soft music and a girl running the bottom right of the screen after main logos. Even after waiting several minutes the main screen doent appear.

Tried compataibility options and running it in smaller resolution, but to no avail.


Did/do you encounter the same problem ?

So, the problem I had, was when I ran the GOG shortcut or tried to run it from Galaxy, it would crash before even getting to the title screen.

My solution was go to the game's directory, run the game directly from there. This got me to the menu. I then set the resolution and full-screen on, saved, quit. Finally, I changed the created shortcut to "Run as Administrator" and it worked, getting me to the menu. This works with both the shortcut as well as running from GoG Galaxy directly.

I am having a similar issue to the original poster, the game gets stuck on the initial loading screen with the running silhouette and never gets to the main menu. I attempted to run the game via its executable in the directory instead of through Galaxy or a shortcut, but nothing changed. The game never actually crashes, but just seems to fail to load the menu and sits at the loading screen forever. It also seems to start in a very strange windowed mode sized too large for the screen, which I am not sure is related but seemed worth noting at least.

Anyone have any insight as to what the problem might be or how to bypass it?

Turning on my phones hotspot and connecting my laptop to the internet fixed this issue for me. I disconnected as soon as the title screen loaded. I found this answer on another forum btw.
