First - Yay! Thank you for releasing this.

Lords 1 (CD) freezes at random intervals, music stops, mouse locks up, forced to kill task.
I haven't noticed a pattern, happens on any screen. DOS version works perfectly.
Also, I have a CD version I had purchased a long time ago. Works nearly identical to the
version posted on GOG but no crash.

Please write to Support and make sure you send in your DxDiag. The more DxDiag files we get the better we can pinpoint any potential problems and solve issues. Thanks :)

There is no option at this point to install the cd version. I think that the version installed is not cd version. It runs on dosbox and does not have voicing. Not sure if it has the german map since I have not conquered England and Wales yet. Could you confirm? Thanks.

The CD version comes in a separate installer, which you should able to find in your GOG library.

Darucas: The CD version doesn't work for me. I'm using Windows 8.1 and the shortcut seems blank after installation, pointing to a 0Kb "choice.exe" file. I've tried reinstalling several times though. I managed to make it install fine by using Windows 7 compatibility on the installer, and the shortcut launches the choice screen. However, the game itself does not work, it just seems to hang for two seconds (nothing is shown, just desktop), then nothing, the processus disappears. I've downloaded the installer twice, it seems complete (and installs normally on another PC with Windows 7).
This is what is happening to my Lords of Magic as well... No idea what to do.
