Whenever I try to launch it gets through about a second of the initial dev logo cutscene with the stars in the background and then crashes. The error message is just 'lomse has stopped working'.

I tried running as administrator and switching the compatibility modes, but no results.

Any ideas?

HUAR: I am having the same issue
OK I tried everything and the only thing that worked was to dowload DOSBox, run DOSBox (that's it, don't need to do anything else but run it), and then launch the game. Some dude on a Steam forum thought it had something to do with Windows Aero? I don't really understand. But it worked for me.
