I'm at the Commander boss fight and the boss health bar, which typically appears at the top center of the screen, doesn't appear on the HUD.

I first thought it was only a HUD issue, but despite fighting the Commander and his summons for around 15 minutes, he does not seem to lose any health and I seem to be stuck in a neverending fight.

Things I have tried:

- Dying to the boss on purpose and retry the fight
- Returning to the main menu and reloading after entering the boss arena
- Verify/Repair game files with GOG Galaxy launcher
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the game

Am I missing something?

EDIT: I found that the display option to always show health bars was unchecked! problem solved
