CPU use is over 200% at all times aka over two cores of a quad core, is this normal and is there anything that can be done about it? I'm forced to run this through wine as the Linux version isn't available yet.

As an aside running through wine at least gets to the menus, the installer crashes as does closing the game, time will tell if it runs alright but the crashes I have encountered aren't the best sign. Hopefully the Linux version turns up soon.

The Linux version does not have the same high CPU use issue, that's fantastic news. It's sitting at 30% use compared to between 200 and 260% use of the wine version. I did try limiting the wine version to one core which slowed it down to a chugging crawl. I'm curious if other people experience the same CPU issue when running through wine.
Hi,

same here with an Asus ROG G750 (Intel Core i7, Nvidia Geforce GTX 780M) : the game take 100% of one core and 30% GPU, even when doing nothing like displaying a static menu page.
That's not acceptable, especially for such a "little" game.

Don't take me wrong, I like it, it's great, well designed but poorly coded I guess (does someone forgot the little sleep delay after each game loop ? That's usually lead to high needless CPU usage or some kind of framework/game engine is used and this one is buggy). Or the game do some hidden CPU intensive calculation for secret purpose like bitcoin mining. Who knows ?

It would be great to have some reply from the devs.
