Gremmi: Go into the game's directory (c:/program files/GOG.com/Little Big Adventure) and edit the dosboxLBA.conf file in notepad. Find where it says core=XXXX and make the following changes:

core=dynamic
cputype=auto
cycles=max
cycleup=5000
cycledown=5000
