The audio in the game is out of sync by about 1-second, which may not sound much but it is hideously noticeable. I don't know if this is a cause of DosBox or my sound card. I've tried using Creative ALchemy to create a dsound.ini and.dll using the default buffer, duration and voice count values but it makes no difference - possibly because LBA2 never supported EAX anyway.

If I install LBA2 from my original disc.. actually I have to copy the contents of the disc and edit files to play the game in English since it won't install on 64 bit Windows 7 or 10... the game plays sound just perfect but music is glitchy because it's constantly seeking the disc drive. Plus there's no graphics settings.

So the DosBox version seems to be the better solution as I can change screen resolution (although not widescreen) and the music plays properly. The downside though is that all sound including the UI is out of sync.
