I'm not sure if the ability to change the camera angle in the mazes is completely absent in the DOS port or not. I've checked the manual and have yet to find a camera button. I've seen footage online of the Amiga version letting you change the camera but maybe its left out of the DOS port. Since the camera can't be adjusted I have to go south of the maze and I have to cross my fingers and blindly dodge a plethora of obstacles.

tl;dr: Can you change camera angles in GOG's DOS port of Litil Divil?

I've been looking for this as well and apparently the DOS version doesn't allow changing the angle, which basically kills the game :(

By the way, this is not a port, it's just the original DOS version running inside the DOSBox DOS emulator.

Yeah I know it runs DOSBox. I was just implying that the DOS version itself is a port of the original Amiga version.
It's a real shame that GOG couldn't add any Amiga games on the website. The GOG founders originally had plans to have a library of Amiga games but they couldn't get past the legal hurdles. Which is understandable.
Oh well. At least I can resort to using an Amiga emulator for Litil Divil. The Amiga version has easy to use camera controls and has really good CD quality music.

Have you tried using the insert, delete, home, page up/down, end, print screen and pause/break buttons? Some old games were a little bit funny regarding the control scheme. I don't have the game installed yet but I think they should've ported the turning as well, otherwise the game sounds quite unplayable from what you're saying.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. I just reinstalled the game to try it but no joy :(
