It seems to me that the difficulty of this game is somewhat unbalanced. I often run into enemies that I just flat-out cannot kill.
The safest (and least frustrating) way to play seems to be to save the game with each 10 steps you take, and each battle you fight.
The story seems rather disjointed, and there doesn't seem to be any system to prevent you from accepting a quest long before you are strong enough to complete it. I have about 14 quests going now, and as a result, I'm rather confused.
The control scheme also seems very awkward, especially in combat.
All in all, I'd say this game has a lot of potential, but falls through on too many points for it to be truly enjoyable.

When I played it, the game started easy enough, but at one point I had to play hit and run a lot and healing/mana potions were next to impossible to find. At the end it was insanely easy I just sat there taking minimal damage from the last boss as I was able to lay waste with my best attacks.
As Diablo clones go, it was okay. But, I think that I preferred the Divine Divinity series MUCH better

i think it was a mistake letting Reflexive do the game.
They are a foremost a casual game company.

Divine Divinity was great, and I hope to see it on GoG since it's been entirely discontinued, you can only find it in the occasional bargain bin. That game had an excellent combination of Diablo's hack & slash and Ultima's interactivity and style.
Great game.
As for Lionheart, the game is decent enough until it decides that your character is no longer viable unless you decided on a combat based build, magic or melee. I've finished it after buying it a few days ago and it's something that certainly could've used more work.
I haven't played it much yet but the graphics and sound appear to be very good and the control panel looks OK.
So far so god for four quid.

I remember playing the demo for this after I had bought Baldur's gate 2 and decided to check out interplay's website for any other games they had made.
After the demo was over I thought it was so good, that I decided to buy it the next time I was at the store. Well I kept putting it off until I couldnt find it in stores and then had somewhat forgotten about it until I saw it on here for 6 buck so I bought it and started playing it. its not as great as it was in my minds eye. but then again its not a bad game.
Im gonna spend some more time with it and see if its good or not. But I can sort of tell this is gonna be a fun and interesting game to discover as I play.
Im one of those saddos who paid full price for this when it came out...lol
Aside from the crash to desktop I got regularly, this game was one of those "if only..." games.
It looked great, played great in the early stages, and the concept of meeting in-game real life famous people from History was very novel... but oh dear, what started off as a Fallout style rpg, descended into a Diablo-esque hack-em-up.
I absolutely HATE dungeon crawls... and being greeted by a wave of 60 goblins or other warty beasts isnt my idea of fun.
Lionheart was one that slipped through the quality nets... it had everything in place to be a top notch title... and then Fell flat on its butt when you leave the Barcelona area.
Having said that..at these prices that GoG charge, its actually worth the investment if only for the earlier levels... I mean... Ive paid higher prices for REALLY awful games to play on my phone!!

I just left Barcelona to Montserrat and so far, I slayed 37 “snakebreed crushers”, knowing that they dodge about 75 % of my attacks…I think I’ll have a little break!
Lionheart is another game that I never finished; there were just too many things I didn't like about it. The map, for instance. It was too difficult to find NPCs that you spoke to.
