I did a search here and google and obviously at the WSGF but it seems you can barely change the resolution, at least not aboive 800x600 without suffering from some nasty glitches.

Anyone found a way to play this game with a resolution that is at least higher than 800x600? It's quite a small window for me on a 23" 1080p monitor. I could force the game to fill the screen but I'm technologically allergic to blur effects.

I have also been searching laltely the internet for any possibility to increase resolution without game crashes. Sadly I haent found any solution.

First page of a google search for "Lionheart Resolution" yields a widescreen patch now. Just thought i would put this in here so its even easier to find and help other people who had the same issue I had

Got it but it doesn'twork in Win8, I have to execute it using "solve compat problems" as I have no compatibility tab for this exe properties, then I have a ton of errors/warnings on appying the changes, and the game is broken...

That patch worked well but for some reason I get a huge performance hit so I had to choose between 800x600 or too low performance; both of which is gaming breaking to me. :(

I've always had issues with DirectDraw with my Windows 7 setup and I believe there's a possibility to add one of those special consideration to the game but I don't really know how they work and too many to try manually so I gave up. It's possible this game would work best in a XP SP3 environment (non-virtual).
The high resolution patch from ModDB is working great for me on Windows 7 64-bit.

Thanks alot my friend. The Moddb widescreen mod worked perfectly for me. For those who are confused ....

1. Download The Moddb Widescreen mod
2. Open Lionheart game folder.
3. Here you will see a huge Data.dat file. Unzip it to /data folder. (7-zip program worked fine for me)
4. Delete Data.dat OR change its name (Forexample to dataold.dat)
5. Unzip the Lionheartwidescreenpatch.rar file into game folder.
6. Run "LionheartWidescreenPatch.exe" which is now inside the game folder.
7. For my laptop I choosed 1280x800 resolution and click Apply. It only takes a few seconds.
8. Play the game :)

I did this on vista and my computer from 2007 worked just fine.

EDIT: I removed the "you can continue your old saves" part because it obviously corrupts your play.
