The patch didn't work for me under windows 8, there was no list of resolutions. After "Troubleshooting Compatibility" and setting the patcher to use Windows XP compatibility, it worked great. Now I'm running in 1920x1080 resolution just fine.

I installed the game only to try this and it worked. Funny too, if it hadn't for the requirement to unpack the data.dat file I likely wouldn't have been able to disable intro movies too.
