Tldr; The starting area shows a game on par with Fallout or Baldur's gate, but fails to live upto it, becoming a mindless hack and slash, released too early by a company about to fall.
This game could of been awesome, a (as advertised) Medieval fallout mixing the best of fantasy with the best of the Renaissance. The first section of the game (within the starting city) is very well done with an intriguing story and interesting side quests and NPCs. However once this part of the game ends it becomes a generic hack and slash game, and it does not do this particularly well. From what I can tell this game was released a few months too early, and most of the content had been abandoned , the main story is still there (and is a good one a that) but that is about it.
For someone who is a fan of baldur's gate, fallout or similar games, this could be a game to try, but it would only show you what could of been rather than what is.
