One of the fun things of these old games were collecting the add-on courses for them.
Are people out there collecting?

I know I spent many years going through this process and have them all now.
Hopefully Links LS 2000 gets a release as then we can use all the LS courses as they are all compatible. Links LS 2000 was also the absolute pinnacle of the LS series. It's the greatest game of all time for me.

In the mid 90's I used to play 386 Pro on my Gateway 2000 486 for endless hours. Moved up to LS 98 and a Dell 450. I kind of quit playing sports games around 2000 but I'm a completist so I continued to collect most of the versions and courses. I think I have everything except the courses off of the 2001 expansion disk. An interesting fun fact is that Pebble Beach is very restrictive on their licensing so that course was a one time deal and only available on the original floppy. I don't follow golf games now so I don't know if that course has ever been released again for any current golf games.

I'm not sure if Pebble came out for any other golf games either, certainly none I can recall.

There are quite a few versions of Microsoft courses that came out for the Links LS series. If GOG released Links LS 2000, there is quite a lot of collecting to do to get every single version of all the courses they created which work in LS 2000.
