I'm playing a slot machine in Lefty's Bar in order to raise as much money as possible (bet almost all money, save after winning, reload after losing) before starting a fight for the Yankmaster achievement with $1 bets. However, during that process I found a bug. When you have at least $10000 (I think, I had a little bit over $12000), the game refused to use the slot machine saying that "max bet is $10000" (even on lower bets) and "you don't have money" (which is false). However (by game) Larry is not bankrupt, because the "money guy" is not present outside the bar and I can still buy the drinks from Lefty (the money decreases properly). I think the same bug may apply to the Blackjack table.

I could just try to fix the situation by buying the rounds to get money below $10000 and maybe the Slot Machine will start working again? But I think this needs to be fixed by making a "money cap" like in the older versions of LSL1.

It will work when you get below $10000 (you should go at least a few hundred dollars lower than that to ensure you don't exceed the limit from the spins).

A quick way to get there would be buying a bunch of rounds at Lefty's; that takes away $90 every time. You can also go edit the save game; it's an XML file, so it's essentially plain text. (On Windows, you should find the save in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\N_Fusion Interactive\LSLR).

$10000 should be more than enough, by the way. On average, you will lose 359 dollars for every 2197 dollars you bet - meaning that $10000, statistically, should be enough for about 61 thousand spins. This gives you a 99.99999999991% chance of receiving the achievmenet before you go bankrupt.

Thanks, I just got it! But I still think that slot machines should be fixed by setting the money cap, because these texts about bets and money doesn't make sense if you have over $10000.
