I get the Sierra logo at the beginning and then a black screen. I can hear the audio. I am running Vista 64 bit with a onboard Nvidia chip (no real video card).

umm, is this for the entire scene or do you quit out as soon as this happens? if so try and wait as the opening scene starts off black with sound till shamera handcuffs you and lights a cig.

Yes, If I wait about 30 or 35 seconds, then the proper video appears. On my earlier attempt, I only waited 20 seconds.
