PeterC2: I have been playing LSL6 for a few hours now and Art and his cart seem to be broken. I hear the cart on the last screen to the left before going outside, and one time they floated down from the upper right portion of the screen, turned around, and then floated (facing left again) to the upper left of the screen. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a fix for it?
Never faced this particular issue, but I did get stuck on two occasions. First was in the pool, where the floating bar moved towards me while I was swimming, and then neither of us could move again. I had to load a save that time. I also got stuck into the tram once, but clicking around eventually freed me.
The best advice for the entire Larry series, that protects you against dead ends and ultra-rare bugs comes from the author, Al Lowe himself—save often. It's stated in manuals, in-game flavor texts, walkthroughs, on forums. Specifically: save often and use separate save slots. There's a limit of 99 save slots I believe, so use them. Added benefit is that you can revisit a scene, or perhaps re-read a dialogue you might have accidentally skipped over.

Ok, about this particular bug... I'm not completely sure I read your issue right, but I will assume that the tram glitches its way out of the screen and never appears again, yes? What have you tried? Here are some ideas:
- Try walking away far enough. Make a full circle around the resort, or even better, get to the upper areas, this could reset the tram's position. Completing one of the girl's route might be even better for resetting it, but this depends on which girl's route(s) you're currently trying to do and which routes you're able to finish without the tram. There's also a chance this will lead you to a dead end, though, there is no guarantee the tram will ever reset.
- If you manage to catch the tram driver just as he glitches his way off-screen, try clicking on him and request a ride. This could force the tram to get into position where Larry hops on, ignoring obstacles and collisions.
- Someone mentioned you musn't
do the thing with the tram before you actually know
why it might be important (no,
the thing isn't "riding the tram"). If you followed a walkthrough or something and thought you might do this part in advance somewhen right at the beginning of the game, don't. It could cause bugs.

MINOR SPOILER/HINT: ..............................................nothing important happens at the
leftmost end, if you tried to accomplish something with the tram there, try it somewhere else
