I apparently didn't degauss the tapes in the beginning. I noticed it in Hard Disk Cafe, but can't seem to travel away from there to correct it.

Can the game be completed anyway without having to replay?

Yes. You just won't get all the points. The filmable situations will still go on as usual. To get max points you need to degauss the tapes, load the tape, and click record before the action. If you forget any of those, you just won't get the points.

At least if I remember correctly. It's been a couple of decades...

Thanks for the reply, now a few years later. I wish I could figure out how to get email notifications of replies in these forums, but that seems nowhere to be found.
