Hi,
I just bought LSL7 - Love for Sail, and I have a question - is it possible to change the subtitle language?
I want to play the Game in English, but would like to have the subtitles in German.

I tried finding some sort of settings I could change, but all the references to language in the INI files did nothing, and even running the game in a separate ScummVM version where I can more easily access various technical parameters for the game didn't help.

But then I've found this "German Patch". I tried it, and it works, even the narration seems to be German. I have no idea how good or bad this is, but hopefully it helps.

There is no real installation, it's just an archive you unpack into your Larry 7 folder, overwrite a few files, and run the game as usual. All the modified files are data files, except one executable, but that seems to be intended for the DOS version (GOG version is the Windows version AFAIK), so maybe skip that one as it shouldn't ever be needed. Also, if you already started playing the game, make a backup of the entire folder or something, this patch might easily be incompatible with English saves. Although, my old save loaded fine, so... just a heads up.
