Hi all!

The newer Sierra games had INSTALL.EXE to change the Sound Card. If this is missing you can still edit RESOUCE.CFG, but that's not as neat.

Can anyone confirm if INSTALL.EXE is included?

The reason I'm asking is because these are missing from the SQ and KQ games.
The AGI/EGA Larry 1 and :Larry 5 are missing the intall.exe of course for the AGI version of Larry1 it didn't do squat save for installing the game
Yes, they have. But instead of playing around with install exe and DOSBox just download latest ScummVM (1.5), place MT 32 ROMS in ScummVM directory and enjoy quality music.
However, keep in mind that VGA games particulary sci 1.1 or better run more efficiently and faster on Dosbox. ScummVM is a bit slower with the VGA sci games.

They already use ScummVM for the games.

Yes,I know but they use version 1.4.1

From changelog in 1.5.0:
- Updated MT-32 emulation code to latest munt project snapshot. The emulation
improved dramatically.

Oh no. Are the executables included?

I play GOG.com games on a real DOS machine. Got all the gear, real Sound Blaster, real MT-32, CM-32L, Sound Canvas...

Yes the .exe files are there. The only thing missing is the Hi-res SVGA files for Larry 6 GOG decided to remove those for a very dumb reason i.e. we couldn't get the SVGA version to work so we yanked those files out even though the game should run fine with them still in.
That's great news, thank you :)
