Rhino42680: Hey hey, so if you're using a Playstation 4 DualShock controller, like I was, it's more complicated. You'll need a software program running in between, DS4Windows will work. I had to give up on that because the cable port on my controller is failing and it would cause the connection to go in and out. You can buy any controller that supports XInput, like an XBox controller. I just bought an 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wired controller and it is working flawlessly. Read the instruction manual because you may need to hold a button down as you plug it in to make sure it connects using XInput.
