I can't seem to get my standard Logitech mouse to work with this game. It seems to be keyboard only which makes it unplayable. Any hints?

lego batman like sequence (lego harry potter, marvel batman and etc. 2) plays with the keyboard and not the mouse.
As Lukin86 mentioned, there's no mouse support in any of these Lego games, not even the most recent ones like Lego Batman 3 or Lego Marvel Superheroes.

I think you're over-reacting a bit to call it unplayable (although I agree entirely that they *should* support mouse). If you find you just can't get used to the two-handed keyboard routine, a controller works well with the Lego games (not surprisingly, since it's probably console-focus that has generated such long-term mouse-blindness in the devs).

Actually, the first two Lego Star Wars let the player use the mouse to play. I think it was movement or something.

Really? That makes it weirder. I don't have LSW 1 or 2. Instead I've got LSW: The Complete Saga, which is just 1 and 2 smooshed together into one game (with some minor improvements) and it definitely *doesn't* recognize the mouse. So they actually bothered to code mouse recognition when porting the initial games, but then ditched it when they combined them into one game. Geez, that's lazy...
