Are officially supported Linux versions planned for these games? Given that they run on ScummVM it seems like it should be trivial. The second game is easily one of my all time favourite point-and-click adventures and it would be great to have it available on Linux.

And yeah, I know I can probably just get the Windows version and run a self-extracting executable with Wine, but I really rather have an officially supported version.

GOG has been adding Linux versions for games released before Linux support. It will likely come ... eventually. You can extract the files from the installer and run it in a native ScummVM build.

I hope they get around to it eventually then. Great games, but much less know these days than their contemporary classics. And yeah, that was what I meant: Run installer with Wine, copy game files to native ScummVM build. I know it's easy, but it's more a matter of principle for me to only buy officially supported Linux games these days.

Well, I actually meant using something like innoextract, but either way.

That looks like a neat tool. Thanks, I might find a use for it in the future.
