Minor spoiler for the third floor I guess...

I used one skull to get a key (or an item, don't really remember) ont the third floor. Basically I'm wondering if they have any other use except for the Minotaur trait? (I don't have a Minotaur in my party).

Are skulls useless after level 3 for a non-minotaur user?

First post btw, thanks for an awesome game and an important site.

Keep at least one with you for the later levels ;)

Thank you :)
You had move than one by level 3? Argh I need to backtrack now. I completely forgot about keeping an eye out for one after I got my first.

I'm not sure I had two at that time, sorry. I probably didn't. I'm at the 8th floor now and only have three.

I guess I could ask the same question about the treasures you find btw, or even the notes from that guy. So much stuff that seems worthless!

Ah well, I'm sure I'll do some more playthroughs later anyway =) Already thinking about possible speedrun combos on hard mode. Haven't tried bow yet, but throwing really kicks ass. And my human warriortank barely takes more hits than my front unarmed rogue. I'm thinking rogue party is the way to go! (but that's another thread I guess).
By level 6, I have 2 skulls.
No idea if I missed any.

I'm just saying it for reference.
Same for me: lvl 6, 2 skulls.
2 skulls at lvl 3
I'm totally clueless about the skull right about now o.o;;; what do they do and i remember finding one and didn't take it o.o;;;...

They're useless unless you've got a Minotaur that has the Head Hunter trait. When you have that trait, you gain +3 for Attack Power for each skull carrier.

It's very good for an unarmed combatant that otherwise receive little-to-no upgradeable weaponry.

You will need one later in the game. So keep at least one with you ;)
Where do you find those skulls ? I'm on lvl 6 and haven't found any yet. Seems odd, especially if one's needed at the end =P

In hidden areas, down pits, and even surrounded by an annoyingly large number of poison spitting plants.

The first is under a helmet, the second down a pit between some undead guards, through a teleporter to a room filled with poison spitting plants, and I think in the temple grounds where the infinite ice lizards spawn ? (god I hate these). I have 4 atm, and I think I missed one...Just wrapping up level nine (haven't done fighter challenge as the door still wont open for me).
Okay, thanks. I'll try to look harder, maybe did I just overlook them...
