I have randomly hit a bunch of likely buttons, including the entire set of F keys, but nothing looks like it does a quick save or quick load. Are there keys for this? If so, please help a challenged player!

In these kind of games I tend to try and run through only using a single save (unless there are auto saves too). I have the one save slot I made in the beginning and keep overwriting it, but a quick save button would just make this process easier. Anyone?

there is no quicksave/quickload in the game

autosave saves when you use a blue crystal else you have to save manually

That's what I thought. Pity, it's a pretty standard thing in games that allow saving anywhere. Maybe it will be addressed some time in the future.

Cheers!
Well, you can save anywhere, you just have to hit Esc first to pull up the menu first.
If i saw the developer forum correctly, this will be addressed with the next patch. Let's hope they also let you cast spells via hotkey. Or at least dial them in with the numpad. :)

Considering that they are Finns, they won't. Finns need more pressure to change something than wishing for it.

My point was that games that allow for saving in any location, via esc->save, will usually also have a quick save key as well. That was what I was wondering about.
I hadn't even noticed the game didn't include one but it does seem like a strange oversight. Hardly more than a minor annoyance for most people though.
Depends what your used to.Some games save constantly with no need to do it yourself which can make you forget to save in games that require it.
