Ok got one key to the gate, (so I can get to the next level.) The only way for me now is through the doorway that says "no turning back now". So do I go forward, knowing I can't get back with the key?
Also, how many levels are there in this game?

You'll eventually be able to get back to the gate, just not by the same path.

There are thirteen levels to the dungeon.
