Is that normal?

I haven't used GOG in awhile, so I'm not sure if this is a normal practice?

It is normal, you get an option during install to install Foxit reader. It's the same with all GOG installers.

The reason behind it is that GOG bonus material like manuals often come in .pdf format. I think GOG promotes Foxit over Acrobat Reader becuase they feel it's better. With which I honestly agree.
When you install a title there's the game name with a checked box by it and one for Foxit. Uncheck the box next to the Foxit name and you won't even get a 'prompt'. At least, that's what's always appeared for me so far.

...altho, I can't remember if this only appears after I pick "options" to install the game to my GoG directory (I don't install in default Program Files).(edit: you do indeed have to click on the Options button to get the screen I mentioned above).

Foxit Reader is often preferred because Adobe Reader has too many vulnerabilities

I've installed LoG but haven't noticed any additional tries of Foxit installation.
Maybe because I already have the other software to read pdf files?
Strange, could be that I don't have a 'pdf reader' per say, I just drag PDF's to Google Chrome which reads them automatically, no need for extra bloat on my machine.

I use to use Foxit, but the compatibility with some PDF's killed it for me.

Thanks for the reply's all!
