So I used to edit Grimrock quite a bit in the past. I'm thinking about picking it up again, despite it not being nearly as popular now. I made tons of stuff, but never finished an entire project.

Here's a short vid, showing off a little surprise I scripted. What do you think?

That looks pretty scary.

Ahem.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGGHH!!!

Seriously, creatures that can break down doors? Holy hell, that just made the OC that much more terrifying.

I am going to wait to make my new maps in the LoG 2 map editor. Psyched! :D
That's neat. How long did it take you create that event?

Longer than it should have lol. There were touchy problems, like if you're standing next to the door, even if it's shut, a charging ogre will still cause ram damage to the party. That took some doing to fix... Otherwise, it's a bunch of lua scripting that mostly looks flashy. I'm hoping LoG 2 will be just as fun to edit.
that is pretty impressive

but you can make a huge LOG1 or LOG2 dungeon without doing coding of your own

I have done massive dungeons just using the dungeon editor as it is both in LOG1 and LOG2

would be great to have a Library of coding snippets that all "editors" would be allowed to borrow (provided they credited the author later) but apparently that will not happen
