I bought the LoL pack here on GoG, installed it and they run fine. But when I click on the Graphic mode setup.exe in the general directory and modify any setting, it says that "Game is not installed" when I want to save the changes.

Any idea why and how to solve it?

Did you install it in Program Files ? If yes, you'd better uninstall it and install it somewhere like C:\Games. Dosbox games need to have their configuration in the game directory and they can only save it if the setup is run as administrator.
No, I installed it in its own directory, something like D:\Lands of Lore complete. Inside, there are several subdirectories, like Dosbox, lands of Lore 1, Lands of Lore 2, maybe another, then a bunch of files and amongst them that exe file...

use the shortcuts from the startmenu to start it.

It worked!! Thanks!! Now that i got the solution, it totally makes sense, in fact... ;)

Now I have to find the best settings...
alternatively you can change the dosbox.conf file manually, everything is explained inside.
you should check "keep aspect ratio", in that way i got rid of the big black bar at the bottom on my widescreen monitor.

True, but I tend to avoid messing with conf files when i don't exactly know what I'm doing. Especially when the graphic setup enables me to obtain a perfect result, which is the case here in Lands of Lore ;)
you're right, but as i too didnt know how to start the configurator, i just worked with the conf file. a bit stupid that it doesnt work when started from its directory :-/

Yes, my thoughts, exactly.
