Would someone write detailed installation instructions for DOSbox and then write detailed instructions on how to install LOL including CD setup and processor speed settings in the configuration file.

I just downloaded the file/game from GOG, then double clicked on the setup_lands_of_lore_12.exe and installed it. Not sure why you are trying to install DOSBox separately, with different configuration settings. Is there something wrong with the normal set up?

All the DOS based games from here are already packaged with DOSBox. After you buy it, you download it, install it like mentioned in the post above, then run the executable shortcuts placed on the desktop, or in the start menu, and that's all there is to it. Don't have to configure or mess with anything else, unless the game is broken for you or you need to fix something with it(like sound or graphics, sometimes they need tweaking).

If you're talking about installing from the CD and using DOSBox, I'm afraid I can't help you there, I don't know much about DOSBox. The game is only 3 dollars now during the Holiday sale through the 2nd, why not buy it already configured and good to go? :)
