So I just beat this game, again, and I found the teaser at the end appealing. This was such a great, underrated game. Do you think the Sequel will ever happen?
Was there ever anything produced after this at all?
I've had an interest in Labyrinth of Time for some years (I've wanted to implement support for it in ScummVM), and I've never heard/seen of any work on the sequel ever being done. Having a sequel would certainly be nice. Having LOT released on GOG was a pleasant surprise bit of activity from them. So who knows, if the game sells well, maybe it'd convince them to make it. Or contract it out to a third party.

From what I understand, Terra Nova did some technical tests, but nothing ever went beyond that. Once Wyrmkeep became the publishers, there were some murmurs of a sequel (an old piece of publicity said they planned to announce a sequel in "late 2006"), but nothing moved.

Wyrmkeep's focus seems to be on an Inherit the Earth sequel before Labyrinth, and Bradley W. Schenck (whose art is instrumental to the game) is no longer involved in the game industry. So the chances are probably low. I'm still hopeful that the GoG release will renew some interest and make it clear that people want to see something this imaginative again!

I realize I'm basically That Fan, but I've been hoping for a sequel since around the time the game came out. I'd be great, but I don't expect anything.
