There was an update earlier this year here at GOG. I played through the once before the update and even though this game wasn't something like anything I had ever played before, I really enjoyed it. I intend to go through it again in the near future and see what changes have been made.
There was another update yesterday. It's quite reassuring that PixelCount Studios values GOG customers.

Thank you!
There was another update today.
Looks like a new version came out recently. The version number in the new installer's filename is actually a little higher than the Steam version. I guess Steam & GoG get different versions so the version numbers don't line up. Sure would be nice to have the changelog here on GoG so we knew for sure what the changes were.

The current GoG installer's filename is "setup_kynseed_1.2.3.13302_(78131).exe" so I guess this is v1.2.3.13302.

From a Steam page [https://steamdb.info/patchnotes/16578166/]: (note this is apparently v1.2.2.13290)

Thank you all for updating this thread! It is both sad and quite annoying that gog.com does not bother to update the changelog in the games library of our accounts.... that is an ongoing problem for years now and it seems they just don't care...
