first i never played the game but got remined today about the existance of knightshift and was looking to buy it but here and on steam i read comments about the game music being altered and not the high quality original one.

Is it that bad and is it possible to get the original game music legally?

The music is totally different, no idea why it got changed. The original soundtrack was superb and it should be inseparable part of the game.
