I have played this game on this PC, but suddenly when I start a game or even try loading a saved one, when the loading bar gets even less than a fourth of the way, it crashes to desktop.

I have VOODOO installed and also NICODE's fix, and I even tried running in compatibility mode.

I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it in another location, and still NOTHING.

Also, I even uninstalled AGAIN and rebooted and reinstalled and still the same thing, but also the menu screen loads in Window mode (I want it in full)

I actually found a solution -- If this happens to anyone else, (I don't think I mentioned it, but I'm using a Windows 10 laptop) try installing to the DOCUMENTS folder

the only thing I COULDN'T resolve is even with Nicode's reencoded AVIs, I can't get the videos to play in-game, and they did before (and on this computer)

I set the compatibility to Windows 95, and that fixed the issue with the videos not playing

thanks envisaged0ne. I did that and opened the game and the videos now play again :D

I just downloaded Mask (I figured I could take a little nostalgia trip), but I had this same thing of it crashing with the loading bar 1/4 done. However, I also had a Norton notification about highly suspicious activity from that program. Uninstalled/reinstalled, same thing. Is Norton being stupid, or is this something I should be concerned about?
