Would appreciate anyone's help with the following: I downloaded the King's Quest bundle and all three of the games have the same issue: my mouse is stuck along the corners and edges of the screen. The game is not frozen and I can move the mouse between the corners and edges as well as use keyboard commands. The mouse just won't stop in the middle so I can play the game! I have played other dosbox Sierra games from GOG of the same vintage (e.g. the Quest for Glory series) and do not experience this problem. Has anyone else experienced this?

Are you using a DOSBox within a virtual machine like VMware? That issue would be common then. The DOSBox developers advise against running the DOS emulation on a virtual machine.
I am indeed running through a Virtual Machine (Mac OS X with a KB Parallels running Windows 8.1). No hope?

You could just try playing the games using ScummVM. ScummVM is available for Mac OS X.
In case you have bought King's Quest 6 - make sure, that you set platform to "Windows" instead of DOS. That will get you hi-res portraits.

Agreed. I'm running Linux and ScummVM is a very nice way to play them.

Failing that (or if you want to try something that ScummVM doesn't do yet like KQ7), drop the unpacked DOS game folders into Boxer. (It's the same old DOSBox under the hood)

(If you're comfortable with running things in Terminal.app, you can even unpack the EXE installers right on OSX using and [url=http://constexpr.org/innoextract/]innoextract.)
Did Rosella's penis rub a little too much on the screen?
