Hello,

I finished Warriors of the North and I wanted to play Ice and Fire expansion. Installation added new island for me, but I don´t know how to get there.
Could somebody help me? I don´t want to start all the game again, I want just to play that new island.

If you have a saved game from WotN all should not be lost. If I remember correctly (and it's been a while since I played!) try talking to the nearly dead elf on the beach in Nordlig, this should start the DLC quests.

Hello, thank you for the help. I have saves, because I finished the game yesterday and after I installed addon. I tried to load some save near the end of the game, I travelled to Nordlig, but I didn´t find any elf there :-( I will try to keep looking for a while.

I've looked into this a bit further as I've only ever played with the DLC installed and came across a thread over at Steam that seems to suggest that you need to start a new game and when you do there'll be an 'Ice and Fire' button which will let you play the DLC content. Info here;

you are very nice that you try to help me, but unfortunately this was not my problem. Since I installed DLC, my setting automatically changed to Ice and Fire and even it automatically transferred my saves from vanilla WotN to ICe and Fire. So I play "Ice and Fire" just I can´t find that "starting point" of DLC about what you talked. Maybe that elf could be on some other island, on some forum I read something about Merlassar, but hard to say.
In any case thank you for your support.

One last suggestion is to go to Nordlig Castle and pick up the amulet and see if that does anything to kickstart the DLC. Or maybe check through a walkthrough to see if that can help throw some light on where you need to be.

But the bad news is that according to GameBanshee it seems that you do need to start a new Ice and Fire game and play through the compete game again to get the new content (see first paragraph);

No problem, I'm sorry we couldn't get it sorted but hopefully GOG will be able to give you good news. If not, maybe put the game aside and then play it through again in a few months with the Ice and Fire DLC. It really adds quite a lot and is a much better game than plain WotN. Anyway, good luck :)

They are correct. You need to start a new game on Ice & Fire. On the main menu you will see a window with which campaign (original or Ice and Fire) is currently selected with a 'change' button at the bottom. All original game saves will not start any of the Ice & fire DLC, think of it as a seperate 'campaign'.
