Hello,

I just started KB: TL and am only a little ways into it. All of a sudden, for some reason, every time I fight a battle, auto combat turns itself on and my troops end up attacking and killing each other. I try to turn auto combat off but it keeps turning itself back on--and my troops still kill each other.

Can anybody help?

TIA,
kk

It probably isn't autocombat but werewolf elves or something else causing your troops to go out of your control. if you have a level 2 or above dispel spell cast it on the affected troop to regain control.

It sounds like you somehow managed to get troop numbers that exceed your leadership (likely you topped up your army while using equipment that boosts leadership, then removed that equipment). Any troop that exceeds your leadership will be uncontrollable on the battlefield, attacking both enemies and allies. If this is the case then you should see a little red icon on each of the troops in your army, and if you see this then you just need to dismiss enough of the troop such that it's once again within your leadership level.

Hi,

Are you in the south / east of the starting area (just outside the castle)?
It may be that you are fighting the wolves / werewolves.
If there are any of these in the enemy army, they have special abilities that screw you over.
The wolves create fear in human troops, stopping you from being able to control them.
Werewolves seem to be able to make your men fight among themselves.
