I played KB-TL the first time several years ago as a mage on normal and it was easy as to achieve no looses at most fights.

Now i started a new game as a Warrior on hard...and...i have no idea how to aquire "no looses" at at least 50% of the fights, i still get much more gold as loot as i need to replace lost troops at most of the "with looses"-fights but...i feel a bit depressed if i read that people go though KB-TL on impossible with no looses.

Sure...i started with raised difficulty because i didn't take Leadership through the first 9 Level and concentrated on ATT/DEFF but


-how do they deal with the early fights against wolves...they use their howl and the T1/T2 Human Units are then controlled by the KI for several Turns, if they cause frenzy a Unit might even turn against me.
My only Idea would be to use only T3 and nonhumans.

-how do the deal with early fights against Itemspirits

-the first fights against Griffons

and , and,...

Building a special "counterarmy" doesn't seem to be a clever choice because Units can't be sold and places where you can "store" Units are rare at later maps.

Key for no losses is

A: Resurrection spell get it as early as you can even for warrior and get it to level 3 so that you can resurrect up to level 4 units
B: Key for loosing no units late in the game in KB:TL are the spirits. Especially with fearing low level units and then Rage drain/ Mana Rage balls and then start to resurrect infinite. As soon as you get the last spirit and a good rage drain level from the reaper and a high level of rage mana balls from the ice queen you can resurrect infinite. This is my special trick especially late in the game.

Also a big mistake is on a level up not to take the leadership. In my opinion so that you really max out leadership is to always take leadership if you get the option
