On the Demonis Quest, after getting the key from defeating Baal, I am unable to go back to the Underground Sea area. The reason is simple: whenever I take the portal to get back to the Underground Sea, the game crashes automatically at the end of the loading process. No info is given when the game crash, and I can't figure what is the solution.

I've tried:

- Launching the game as Administrator;
- Re-installing DirectX 10;
- Upgrading my video card drivers;
- Turning off the DEP (altought for no specific reason, Windows 8 doesn't allow me to turn off the DEP for KB:TL);
- Re-installing the game.

The game always played wonderfully on my laptop:

Intel Core i3 2.20GHz
4Gigs RAM
Intel HD graphics 3000
Windows 8 64-bits

Any ideas for a solution?
