Hi, all :-).

I originally posted a basic review as I started venturing-out into the world of KCD II, after the prologue, so I thought it was time to offer a more-detailed review here...

I completed my 2nd playthrough just last night, I did the vast majority of side-quests, unlike my 1st playthrough. The sheer amount of content in this game is mind-blowing. Murder investigations, poacher hunts, bandit eradication, healing people, forging stuff in the Smithy, even helping with money and clothes for a trader who's lost everything... The list goes on.

My 1st playthrough went ok, but I failed with certain activities and choices, more than once. My biggest disappointment, avoiding spoilers here, was not being able to stop a certain course of action, because I lost the challenge to a main character, my sword skills were way too low. There were a few other challenges I failed, or I had to go the long way around in certain quests to achieve my goal.

Not so in my 2nd playthrough. I wanted my skills to be high-enough to make a bigger difference this time around and play the game as honourably as I could. I succeeded in everything I wanted to, including the aforementioned challenge. I stopped him this time and I had a HUGE smile on my face, because it was easy compared to my first playthrough ;-D.

The only issues I encountered... Had to reload my previous save twice, due to characters being seemingly indestructible, but that may be due to Mods interfering with the mechanics of the game.

Anyway, my recommendations after 297 hours and 2 playthroughs...

1. If you haven't yet bought this game... What are you waiting for? ;-)
2. Do as many side quests as possible before progressing the story too much, it does make it much easier/satisfying.

I said this was the best RPG I have ever played, but I was wrong. It's the BEST GAME I have EVER played.

Thank you Warhorse, for making such an amazing and also beautiful game :-).
