Just started playing game. Got to "Run" sequence, mounted horse, but am totally unable to control it. Will only go forward or back. Tried everything. I must be missing something. Naturally the result is my character is killed.

I think it's the same for most people. The horse control is slightly different to other games (like TW3) to allow you to shoot from horseback.

My advice is to find a finger positioning that works for you. For me, it's ring finger on shift, middle finger on w, index finger on d and thumb on a (I have little hands and find this works best for me, but find what works for you). Practice it a few times, because it's very difficult when you first start the 'run' part.

This game is amazing- wonderfully put together and with a great story line and lots of side quests. I hope you stick with it and enjoy it!

Reached the castle and received the task to go to the ramparts and talk to Captain Robard. I can't find him. If I follow the marker that is supposed to take me to him, I end up in Lady Stephanie's bed room, with her asleep. What am I missing.?
