Hello, Has anyone ever come across this? I finish the download via GOG Galaxy app and it ALWAYS says installation failed/ your game files are corrupted. I am trying the offline installer right now (Currently downloading) but wanted to se if anyone came across this before?

Any comment or suggestion are welcomed!

Did you ever figure anything out? I had uninstalled the game a couple weeks ago and now wanted to play again but the download always stops at 97% and says my game is corrupt locally. I deleted every bit of data on from the game just to get a completely fresh install and it still breaks.
I'm having the same issues. I've tried moving the download to a totally different SSD and it still fails to download.
I encountered similar error. It was after my save files were corrupted due to some game-breaking bug, which is rather well-known (after you get drunk with a priest). I tried to reinstall game fresh (after removing a local save files), but no luck due to installation always failing. Very disappointing, because i have just started to have fun in this game and was even thinking that it is on par with Witcher 3. But i doubt i will restart it soon, because i had 20+ hours invested in it and now they are lost.
Yes, I got this after trying to copy KCD to a new SSD drive. Import would fail to find the game at the new path. I then tried to reinstall straight to the new drive and I always get an installation failure. The odd thing is the game does seem to be properly installed, it will run and I can load all my old games. This seems to just be some problem between Gog Galaxy and the game installation.
I have this same problem with two games actually... does anyone know how to fix this? Like i just want to play it already :S

I am having the same trouble but was able to go into the install folder and launch it and it ran fine. Says failed in Gog but runs directly. I have Dragon Age Origins but Gog does not think is installed and it runs fine directly
Well it did the "try to install again" thing this morning and actually finished lol. Try it folks they may have fixed the issue or I got lucky.
I just get silent failure. New Win10 installation, fresh Gog Galaxy download. My other games on the games SSD were detected and imported, but importing KCD fails "no games found" (is there a log file somewhere?). Trying a Galaxy download/install silently fails too. Download/install worked for another title. Something odd/incompatible about KCD?

I downloaded and installed KCD manually and tried to import the new installation, same thing.

It's so frustrating that there are no error messages when using the Galaxy installer.

I might try to hunt down an old version of Galaxy since I know this has worked in the past.

UPDATE: On starting up the morning after I installed manually and tried/failed to import KCD into Galaxy, Galaxy (unprompted by me) somehow "found" the manual installation, included it in its roster and gave me an Update notification -- so things seem to be back as they should be. It doesn't exactly inspire confidence though.
