I do not see a standalone installer for 1.5 update\patch only the core game files carry the 1.5 indentifier.

Does this mean I need to uninstall KCD( save my game files) re-download the 1.5 the HD textures, the HD audio , the speech all over again?

I have a small ssd, i already have steam program, i don't want to install steam, gog gallaxy, and....HO i cant install my game 148.9 go / 150 go XD.......

I'm on gog, because we don't need for a program, and i prefer a no drm version....

Ooooooops wtf it's not the same files....it's 1.5 version but it's a "new version" on gog, i don't understand.

Well I dont think this is right advising people to use the gog galaxy tool.

This defeats the purpose of having stand alone games and updates.

I ended up deleting everything last night and re-downloaded the 47gb worth again for the third time since this is the second time this has happened with lack of stand aline updates.

I would like to know holds this decision, is thisGOG or Warhorse.

I still would like to say thank you Warhorse for staying DRM free here at GOG.

I did a full fresh 1.5 install without Galaxy and all previous (1.4.3) saves are working O.K.
Just over two hours and i am up and running where i left off - have a beer and relax.
My thanks to warhorse and GOG for the update.

As soon as we stop demanding what GOG has promised in the terms and conditions, which is to not depend on GOG Galaxy but to always have classic offline installers, they seem to relax (they were releasing the patches next day or 2 days after when we were complaining, now the week has passed from Tuesday and no 1.4.3 to 1.5 patch...) and delay the patches so you're forced to use GOG Galaxy if you want to play the already paid game in its best state.

This is a proportionate and rightful demand, not a unjustified whine. If you are OK ("take a beer and relax", as if you're over us and we're lunatics) whenever a company doesn't fulfil its offered conditions, you're part of the problem in which the gaming industry is becoming. The less we demand our consumer rights, the more they treat us as idiots and do whatever they want with us. Enjoy your conformist beer ;) Cheers

I'm so glad I checked the forums. Hard pass for this game on GOG if the downloads are still as problematic as before. I assume the File Downloader is still abandoned as well?

No thanks. It's bad enough if a game is buggy and incomplete at release, but when I trust a developer with my hard-earned money by pre-ordering, this type of comment is inexcusable. I guess I will have to check wikipedia someday to see how Henry's story ends up, because I certainly won't be purchasing another Warhorse product again. I was thankful to Warhorse for releasing the game here but it doesn't seem like you folks understand folks like me. I wonder if you would have even released it, if Steam-lite weren't a thing here. And I am not a programmer or developer, but why exactly are patches so difficult? Kingdom Come: Deliverance stands out among the other "AAA" releases here, which generally speaking DO have patches and do NOT require darn-near 50 gig downloads every time an update occurs. Is there an insidious motive to get us all on Galaxy, or is it simply laziness?
