Do you know any games similar to King of Dragon Pass? The game was good despite its shortcomings but there have to be more games like this.
We have two threads for this already.

Here's the first one with some recommendations and in the newest post I put together a pretty long list of games with similar elements: http://www.gog.com/forum/king_of_dragon_pass/games_similar_to_this

Here's the other one with some more mentioned games: http://www.gog.com/forum/king_of_dragon_pass/any_other_games_like_this

EDIT: Oh, and no. There is no other game that's really like KODP. It's completely unique, probably the "most unique" game I've ever played.

First of all I must apologize. I always search before starting a new thread (which I rarely do anyways). This time it hasn't crossed my mind.

Wow, I read your post in one of those threads, huge amount of info. For what it's worth I searched the community wish-list -request games section and voted those game there( the lost tribe, and Celtic Tales). It's a snowball's chance in hell they'll get on GOG but it's the least I could do.
Aspects of "The Banner Saga" are supposed to be patterned after the King of Dragon Pass, but it hasn't released yet.

I think the Gamebook Andventures from Tin Man Games are similar to King of Dragon Pass.

You choose between different options which carry on the story on different ways and may also have some longtime effects. Also some events will happen by coincdence because you have to throw dice when doing specific actions, for example during fights.

King of Dragon Pass mixes up such gamebook gameplay with managing you own village. This makes it very unique.

If you happen to be interested in gamebooks, there are a great many others available, both online and in actual book format. I'd recommend the Lone Wolf series, available for free on projectaon.org.
