I've been waiting for this game and noticed that the pc requirements don't say anything about win 8 or 8.1. Has anyone tried it on win 8 ?

It works fine on my 8.1 machine. The http://kentuckyroutezero.com/ requirements just say 'OS: Windows XP SP 2+ or later', so I've no idea why the GOG page doesn't list Win8 has a compatible OS.

Thank you for your reply. I wanted to buy it, but read a post where the OP said they had a problem on their machine, so I was concerned. My desktop is a win 8.1, so this game is a buy for me. Thanks again. :))

It crashed on me every few minutes in Windows 8.1 so I contacted the developers, and they adviced me to run it in Windows 98 compatibility mode. No problems since then.

Micro-BIOS: It crashed on me every few minutes in Windows 8.1 so I contacted the developers, and they adviced me to run it in Windows 98 compatibility mode. No problems since then.
Aaa-haaa, I knew I had seen that post, and couldn't remember where. Your experience is why I was concerned !!

All I can think of is that it must be the particular specs of each individual's PC.
My desktop is a Lenovo K450/Intel i5-4430/8GB...
EVGA GeForce GTX 660 SC+2G...
EVGA 600 B 80 Plus Bronze Act
and I also had an extra cooler put in.
