I know that this game is technically Windows only but it does launch and run in the GOG Snap for Ubuntu 18. Two big items do not seem to work for me:
1. The intro cut scene
2.(Game breaker) the research menu does not have icons. You can still use the menu you just need to "feel" around with your cursor to find research items.
Has anyone else tried to play this game on Ubuntu? If so, have you encountered/worked around the problems that I had?
