The reason why I haven't bought these games is because I'm still waiting for GOG to release the first one. I don't like jumping into a trilogy from the middle part.

The first game is the trickiest to port over to newer systems. Luckily for you, it sounds like Presto really wants to port Pegasus Prime, and stick it on GOG.

Well if you want to wait until pegasus prime, I won't blame you, I myself desperately want teh chance to play as I have only played jmp turbo. However, if you want to play the other games and can't wait, may I recommend that you watch a walkthrough of pegasus prime or turbo on youtube? It's not quite the same but at least it would introduce the story.
Yes, would like to see that one here!

Also, as a huge fan of the series I actually bought Pegasus Prima on Ebay years ago and bought a second hand mac (these coloured CRT ones) and played it!

I fell in love with this series when my dad bought a book about 3D games and it came with TJP Turbo! I most like Buried in Time. The 3rd one was the least interesting I must say. :)
Not much longer now. They're projecting an early 2013 release window for Pegasus Prime.
